Returns & Refund Policy

At Capricorn Computers we want you to be happy with what you buy. This page explains when a product can be exchanged or refunded, and what we need from you to do so.

1. If you buy from our shop
Please test and inspect the product with our sales staff before you pay. If a fault appears after purchase and the product carries a warranty, the warranty terms apply.

2. When your online order arrives

  • Look at the parcel before accepting it from the courier. If the packaging is torn or the product looks damaged, please refuse it. A damaged parcel that you accept is your responsibility, and we cannot consider a complaint about that damage afterwards.
  • If the box does not look like the product you ordered, do not open it or use it. Call us first. Once a box has been opened, damaged or the product used, we cannot exchange it.

3. If the product has a manufacturing fault
Please call our hotline within 24 hours of receiving your order. The product must be free of scratches and its original box must be kept in good condition. Our technical team will examine the product and, if the fault is confirmed, arrange an exchange from our shop.

4. Who pays for returning the product

  • Defective product: if you send it back through a courier or delivery person, you pay the courier charge. Customers outside Dhaka pay only the courier charge. If the product reaches us broken or burnt, you are responsible for it.
  • Wrong product sent by us: we pay the courier and return charges.

5. What we cannot exchange or refund

  • A product that turns out not to work with your device, or that you simply no longer want.
  • Please read the specifications on the product page carefully before you order, and call us if you are unsure.

6. Refunds
When a return is accepted and a refund is due, please allow 3 to 10 working days. Online payments can take longer. Refunds of mobile financial service, online gateway and POS payments carry a refund charge. If you received cashback on your payment, that amount is deducted from the refund.
